Writing stories has always been an essential part of my life. I was that child for whom books were magical escape portals and I spent my early years soaking up as many as I possibly could. Writing provided a similar escape. Even now, when real life becomes hard, I love nothing more than disappearing into the fictional world of the book I’m writing. My characters feel like friends, like confidants. And I’m transported to a sunlit jetty, or a far-away valley, or a wind-swept beach.

My stories always feature a mystery, an intrigue of some kind, because that’s the type of book I love to read. I want beauty, but there is darkness in the world too, and I don’t want to shy away from that, because it is only through darkness that we really understand the quality of the light. I hope you love escaping into the worlds I create as much as I love making them.
